Accommodation at VŠE Dormitories – Academic Year 2026/2027

This information is intended only for newly enrolled international students of Degree programmes at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) who are applying for accommodation in VŠE dormitories.

Reservation Deposit

To confirm your serious interest in accommodation in the VŠE dormitories, applicants are required to pay a reservation deposit of CZK 8,000 by July 5, 2026.

If the payment is not received by July 5, 2026, accommodation cannot be guaranteed.

If the student moves into the allocated room on the date stated in the Accommodation Agreement, the reservation deposit will be transferred to the accommodation deposit. The final amount of the accommodation deposit is CZK 8,000.

The accommodation deposit may be used to cover any damage, outstanding payments, or possible sanctions.

The deposit will be returned when the student moves out:

  • by card at the dormitory office or at the reception
  • by bank transfer within 30 days after moving out (to the account specified in ISKAM)

The deposit may also remain in the student’s ISKAM account for the following academic year.

Payment Methods

The reservation deposit can be paid in the following ways:

  • by credit card via the SÚZ VŠE website
  • by bank transfer
  • by cash deposit at any Česká spořitelna branch to account 1793102/0800

Payments may be made in your local currency using the exchange rate provided by your bank.

Payment Identification

When making the payment, students must provide:

  • Variable symbol (VS): from ISKAM (Basic information)
  • Message for recipient: SURNAME and first name exactly as used in the VŠE InSIS system

⚠️ Important:  Without the variable symbol, it is not possible to identify your payment.

Administrative Fees

Payments received from foreign bank accounts without paid administrative fees will be reduced by the amount of these fees.

⚠️ We recommend that international students increase the payment by at least CZK 500 to cover bank handling fees. Any potential overpayment will be credited toward accommodation payments.

Cancellation Policy

If the applicant cancels the reservation by submitting a ‘Cancellation request’ in ISKAM by August 8, 2026, the reservation deposit will be refunded after deducting bank fees.

The refund will be processed no later than October 10, 2026.

If the reservation is cancelled after August 8, 2026, the deposit will not be refunded.

Refund of Deposit After Moving Out

If the student properly hands over the room and meets all obligations, the deposit will be refunded:

  • by credit card refund
  • by bank transfer (bank account must be filled in ISKAM; administrative fee CZK 500 will be deducted)
