Instructions for applying for accommodation for AY 2026/2027

Students of the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE)  are preferentially accommodated in the dormitories. Accommodation of other persons (students of VŠE with interrupted study, VŠE graduates, and students of other universities) will be possible only in the case of free capacity.

The applicant for accommodation must submit an online application to ISKAM (to the waiting list for the selected academic year). At the same time, a CZK 8,000 reservation deposit must be paid.

Student of VŠE

If you want to be accommodated in dormitories during the academic year, it is necessary to follow these steps:

1. Enrollment in the study

• When enrolling in the study, you will receive the necessary login data (username and password for the InSIS study information system)
• Note: Admission to study is not the same as Enrollment

2. Submit an application for accommodation at ISKAM

• From May 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026 (you can also apply after June 30, but in this case, the room is allocated by Central Accommodation)
• Applying to ISKAM is possible one day after enrollment for the study at VŠE, using the allocated user’s name and password from InSIS.
• Waiting list VŠE studenti – VŠE students 2026/27. (Accommodation→Accommodation requests→(waiting list)
• Information on application submission and room selection dates can be found in the Timetable.
• The application can also be submitted after June 30, 2026. Applicants who submit their applications after June 30, 2026, do not have the option of choosing a room. The Central Accommodation will allocate them accommodation.

3. Pay the reservation deposit

The deposit of 8000 CZK must be paid by June 30, 2026, at the latest. Can be made in the following ways:

• Recommended: Payment via a payment portal in the ISKAM system. Card Accounts – Accommodation deposit – Charge.

• Cashless bank transfer to the bank account no. 1793102/0800. To identify your payment, use the variable symbol (VS).
• Cash deposit in Czech crowns (CZK) through any bank for the benefit of the bank account no. 1793102/0800, using VS.
• Pay by card at the reception desk of any dormitory.

If you are no longer interested in accommodation:

If you are no longer interested in accommodation, send a “Request for cancellation” through the ISKAM application (ISKAM → Accommodation applications → Waiting list → Cancellation request). The return of the deposit, or part of it, depends on when you cancel the request (reservation). We therefore recommend that you carefully review the deadlines for cancelling your request/reservation. 4. Choose the room

• The student selects rooms in ISKAM (in the application) according to the Timetable. It is only possible for students who have submitted an application and paid the reservation deposit by 30.6. Applicants who submit their applications later do not have the option to choose a room. They will be allocated accommodation by the Central Accommodation Office.
• Note: For operational reasons, Central Accommodation may change the reservation of the selected room.

5. Move into the dormitory

• Dates and detailed information on moving in will be published during June and can be found here.
• Moving into the dormitory takes place only on working days during office hours, and the resident’s personal attendance is required.
  Only at the Blanice and Vltava dormitories in the Jižní Město area is accommodation available outside office hours at the Blanice dormitory reception, which is open 24/7.

Student of other universities, VŠE graduate

Accommodation is possible only if there is free capacity after accommodating all students from VŠE, who have absolute priority. More information here.

If you want to be accommodated in VŠE dormitories in the academic year, it is necessary to:

1. Register in ISKAM

• Register at iskam-web.vse.cz to get login credentials.
• VŠE graduates use their InSIS login credentials.

2. Submit an online „Request for accommodation.“

• Log in to the accommodation system iskam-web.vse.cz
• Submit the application to the waiting list Ostatní žadatelé – Other applicants 2026/27.
• Upload a scan of the study confirmation from the school you are currently attending in the accommodation application. Without this confirmation, it is not possible to accommodate students from other schools. Confirmation must be no older than 1 month.
