Rector’s Sports Day

On Wednesday, 23 April, the traditional Rector’s Sports Day will occur, followed by a large student festival – VŠEfest. The whole day is accompanied by the Faculty Battle – a competition between the faculties – everyone can get a lot of points for their faculty by participating in various activities and competitions – come and bring your faculty closer to victory!

The Rector’s Sports Day traditionally brings tournaments and competitions organized by the Centre for Physical Education and Sport in the morning. Interesting trips are also prepared. By participating in tournaments organized by the CPES, students can earn their faculty their first points in the Faculty Battle.

VŠEfest

In the afternoon, the Jarov dormitory campus will become the venue for the student festival VŠEfest, where three super bands – Luxfery and Safe Exit 301 will play. There will be no shortage of student clubs – more than twenty of them have prepared activities where you can earn more points for the Faculty Battle. In addition, you can look forward to several Battle competitions, where representatives of your faculties will compete directly on stage!

You can also look forward to plenty of great food and beer. We can’t imagine a birthday without a speech by the Rector of the VŠE and great fun.

Rector’s Sports Day is an opportunity to take a break from study duties, do something for your body, and have fun with classmates and friends.

Instead of teaching, which was canceled 2024 April 25, the Prague University of Economics and Business prepared a sports program for students and teachers.
